𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬Thanks to this collaboration, Michelin is launching the first 445/75 R22.5-inch tyre designed specifically for the Spierings mobile tower crane: the Michelin X-Crane 2. This tyre features a new tread pattern inspired by Michelin’s truck tyre design. There are two major advantages to this innovative approach, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 and 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. 💪
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲The Michelin X-Crane 2 makes efficient transport between construction sites possible, thanks to a speed rating that allows it to travel at theoretically 100 km/h on the road, with an optimal load capacity of 6,500 kg. It is also designed for use in difficult driving conditions, such as on snow and rough terrain. 🛣️❄️
𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞The Michelin X-Crane 2 has an innovative carcass design that improves the tyre’s thermal performance. This reduces heat build-up during use and extends tyre life. It also increases overall safety. With this combination of innovations, Michelin and Spierings are improving mobility for operators of mobile tower cranes without compromising safety, regardless of the conditions.🛡️

Oss, September 2023 – Bob Bruijsten, director and owner of family-owned Kuiphuis from Oldenzaal is investing in two new SK2400-R eLift crawler cranes from Spierings. The first new crane of this model will be delivered to Kuiphuis in the first half of 2024. With this, Kuiphuis is once again stepping up the sustainability of there crane fleet.
Within Kuiphuis, five eLift cranes have already been added to the fleet in recent years to meet the demand for electric construction equipment. Bob Bruijsten: “We may be moving faster than construction companies at the moment, we find that construction companies are still getting used to the fact that with electric cranes of this size we can already run on construction with a 16 amp connection.”
In addition, Bob Bruijsten sees it as everyone’s responsibility to make the maximum effort to save emissions.” If we already look at how many hours we run emission-free every week, that just makes me proud. Kuiphuis has a fleet of more than 40 Spierings cranes including several crawler cranes. Kuiphuis notices that the demand for these types of cranes is increasing. Spierings Mobile Cranes sospende la costruzione di gru diesel convenzionali
Spierings Mobile Cranes ha deciso di interrompere la costruzione e la vendita di gru diesel convenzionali. D’ora in poi, il produttore di gru di Osse produrrà solo modelli ibridi sostenibili. In questo modo Spierings è la prima azienda al mondo a costruire esclusivamente gru con sollevamento interamente elettrico. Inoltre, anche l’ultimo modello, la SK487-AT3 City Boy, può funzionare in modalità completamente elettrica, il che consente una completa riduzione delle emissioni locali. Questa gru elettrica consente di lavorare senza emissioni in qualsiasi città.
La scelta è motivata dalla forte crescita delle gru ibride e dalla volontà di fare il massimo per le persone, la natura e l’ambiente. Lithium-ion batterie
Le gru a torre ibride di Spierings Mobile Cranes sono dotate di batterie agli ioni di litio. Questo le rende adatte al funzionamento senza emissioni in qualsiasi cantiere. Per le emergenze, la gru è dotata di un piccolo motore diesel Stage V a 3 cilindri. Ad oggi, Spierings Mobile Cranes ha già consegnato più di 150 gru elettriche, meglio conosciute come eLift.
Innovazione e sostenibilità
I vantaggi del funzionamento senza emissioni sono evidenti, afferma Spierings. ‘Nessuna emissione di CO2, nessun inquinamento acustico, ma potenza invariata. E se l’operatore ha comunque bisogno di utilizzare il piccolo motore diesel? Il consumo di carburante è ancora molto basso.
