Jos Blom Kraanverhuur B.V. uit Alkmaar heeft een order voor 3 nieuwe Spierings kranen geplaatst. Twee nieuwe SK597-AT4 eLift kranen en een SK487-AT3 eDrive, beter bekend als de City Boy. Blom zal deze kranen in 2021, 2022 en 2023 in gebruik nemen. Met deze order speelt Blom in op de toenemende vraag naar kranen waarmee emissie vrij gewerkt kan worden.

Sarens has placed an order for the Spierings battery powered hybrid cranes. The order exist three SK1265-AT6 eLift cranes and one SK597-AT4 eLift. It’s an essential step forward in the future where environmental friendly lifting will be more and more important. Sarens experience an increasing demand for electrical lifting solutions from their customer base, the ‘Zero-emission eLift’ solution of Spierings connects seamlessly to this demand. The Spierings eLift cranes can work electric on full speed and capacity by connecting only a 16A grid connection, that could be found at almost all lifting locations.

The Airport Authority of Hong Kong has awarded a large contract to Gammon for the construction of the third runway facilities at Hong Kong International Airport. The Spierings cranes will be used for the construction of the tunnels and associated works for an automatic people mover and baggage handling system at Hong Kong International Airport on behalf of Airport Authority Hong Kong.

During the last few weeks of 2020, Spierings Mobile Cranes B.V. has been counting down towards the delivery of their first electric eLift Crane. An Innovation that has required 1.5 years of hard work. With this innovation Spierings has delivered the largest electric mobile crane in the world that can work on a 16 Amp socket with zero emissions. A 72 ton heavy crane, 66 meter high with a lift capacity of 10.000kg is able to work on the electrical outlet that could also be used for electric cooking.

On May 22, Spierings Mobile Cranes from Oss delivered its 250th 6-axle to the German customer Wiesbauer. Wiesbauer is one of the first Spierings customers in Germany. At that time Wiesbauer started with the SK477-AT4 and now they have a fleet of Spierings cranes and a new SK1265-AT6 Mighty Tiny.

We’re excited to announce the reveal of the miniature of the most innovative mobile crane in the market; the Spierings SK487-AT3 City Boy. The SK487-AT3 is equipped with many revolutionary features which you can also find in detail on this model. The 1:50 model is made by WSI and now available in the Spierings webshop.

Netherlands-based crane manufacturer Spierings Mobile Cranes has launched the world’s first hybrid mobile crane. Combining zero-emission driving and operational capabilities, the new SK487-AT3 City Boy crane provides a flexible solution for urban environments and could play a key role in alleviating the European nitrogen emission issues.

On March 5, Spierings Mobile Cranes hosted the world premiere of the SK487-AT3 City Boy. Halfway January the first City Boy was delivered to crane hire company Nederhoff. Together with the owners of the first 4 City Boy’s we presented this innovative crane to the press and special invitees. The SK487-AT3 is the first crane in the world that can drive and operate fully electric.

Spierings Mobile Cranes recently opened a stunning showroom at which customers will take receipt of their new cranes. Furthermore, work is currently underway on the factory roof to create the largest solar panel park in Oss.

Last Saturday the training for the first City Boy operators took place in Oss. The new user interfaces and working of the crane is explained in theorie and practice. The operators were very statisfied about the crane operation and driving off the City Boy. We would like to thank them for their enthousiasm and motivation. To be continued soon.

Vanaf heden vormt hij samen met Gijs Delissen, Camiel Both en Cindy van Vugt de nieuwe directie van Spierings Mobile Cranes. Leo Spierings blijft als oprichter nauw betrokken en speelt een belangrijke rol als technisch adviseur binnen de organisatie. Spierings Mobile Cranes is klaar voor de toekomst met dit nieuwe gedreven directieteam. Lift to the max.

Every year Het Financieele Dagblad organizes the FD Gazellen: the awards for the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. We are proud that we have been nominated for this award for the 3rd year in a row. The winners will be announced on November 5.

On Tuesday the 3rd of September we, as a proud entrepreneur from Oss, received the certificate for Corporate Social Responsibility from the "De Power of New Business Oss" foundation. We are very proud of this achievement.

Saturday it was Tiny’s family day at our factory. Our employees brought their family’s to celebrate this day. There where a lot of activities for young and old. Tiny’s family day is held to honor Leo’s wife Tiny who passed away in 2001.

On 1 June 2019, Frenchman David Colombat joined the sales team at Spierings Mobile Cranes. Alongside managing the company's contact with existing customers, he will also be working on raising the profile of Spierings' mobile tower crane concept in France to attract potential new customers.

Yesterday the tough Joep came to take a look at our factory in Oss. Joep arrived in his super chic limousine to fulfill his wish day. Joep is a big fan of our mobile tower cranes. As part of his wish, he was allowed to operate the crane himself and also made a factory tour and a test drive. We have also spoiled Joep with beautiful Spierings items so he looks like a real crane operator!

We are proud to announce that the first five female colleagues have started working in our factory. The first steps towards a factory full of diversity! Good luck women and on to the next five women!

Spierings Mobile Cranes wins Enginia’s title “Customer of the year 2018” The combination of Teamcenter software with our Solid Edge CAD system will integrate our entire product creation process, from design to production planning to the management of production machines.

Today we had a special visit of the commissioner of the King Mr. van de Donk. Together with the mayor of Oss Mrs. Buijs-Glaudemans and alderman of Oss Mr. den Brok they were given a company presentation and factory tour and of course a demonstration of our newest developments.
