A special day for the forces behind our cranes!

On 14 June, we organised an operator event at Spierings: a day entirely dedicated to the great people who get the best out of our cranes every day. And what a successful day it was!

We kicked off with a look behind the scenes during a factory tour. Then the operators were able to show off their skills and knowledge during a workshop on slewing, operator games, a quiz and, finally, the presentation of the eLift Award.

Winner eLift Award 2025: Klaas Mijnheer from the company Van Straaten Raalte.
Every year, we present the eLift Award to the operator who has performed the highest percentage of his operating hours electrically. This year, the honour goes to Klaas Mijnheer of Dutch company Van Straaten Raalte. With his SK597-AT4 eLift, Klaas managed to operate electrically no less than 96% of his total running hours.

It was great to see how involved and enthusiastic everyone was. Extra special: five machinists from Finland as well as two from Spain made the trip to the Netherlands to be there.
